inspired by the poem “Tick-Tocking clocks”

Words unveiled from your lips
Echoed in the silence
Of my mind
I saw something of myself
Remain in the quiet
Left behind.

I heard your thoughts
Unravel
Upon the screen
Of my curiosity.
I felt them tickle
A part of me
Immune to
All hilarity.

I felt the touch
Of the intangible,
As pores breathed in
The delight
That flows from
Founts found within
And urges this
Hand to write.

For an instant
I knew an unknown
Unfathomable
To surface sight,
As darkness within
Whence we come from
Turned its head
Towards the light.

Then I saw what you made me see
When utterance freed
The vision it held
Inside.

A glimpse of a forgotten
Memory.
Reminiscences of
Before time’s divide.

  1. Good one
    Really deep

  2. I saw an ocean behind while reading this poem, and found in it a sweet reminder to swim deeper and deeper.
Thank you for sharing Nachiketas 🙂
